Arghya - Teak Wood Square Center Table

The Arghya is a center table that commands a room the moment it enters one. A classically moulded apron, hand-turned bulbous legs, and a tray top with cut-out handles, this is a piece rooted in the Indian tradition of presenting with both hands, of offering something considered and complete. The name says it plainly: Arghya means offering in Sanskrit, and that is exactly what this table does to a living room.

The tray top is what makes the Arghya genuinely functional beyond its form. Lift it off and carry it - tea, snacks, a curated tray arrangement - and the base remains as a low platform piece in its own right. Set it back and it reads as a unified whole. A center table for the living room that earns its place in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Built in solid teak wood. The moulded apron, turned legs, tray frame, and handles are crafted from teak throughout, a wood known for its density, natural oils, and resistance to everyday wear. The deep walnut-toned finish gives it warmth without masking the grain beneath.

Available in three sizes — compact for apartment living rooms, medium for standard family spaces, and a grand 48×48 inch format for large lounges and heritage-style interiors. Height is selectable at checkout: 16 inches as default or 18 inches for a slightly taller surface.

This piece is covered under the Amodha Designs Warranty for 1 year from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects in joinery and finish. An additional year of coverage is available at the time of purchase or anytime within your warranty period, pricing quoted on request.

When your order arrives, please record a complete unboxing video. Transit damage claims can only be processed with an unboxing video as evidence. This takes a few minutes and fully protects your purchase.

Each Arghya Center Table is handcrafted to order. The frame, legs, apron, and tray are made primarily from teak wood, natural variation in grain, tone, and texture is inherent to the material and contributes to the uniqueness of each piece. Finish tone may vary slightly between batches. The removable tray top is designed to fit the base securely; minor variation in fit tolerance is normal for handcrafted pieces. No two units are identical.
